You force guys to step up and prep for losers bracket. Go listen to Tony's quotes on game plan for SEC tourney. There are side quests stacked in main quests and main quest has 0 to do with SEC tourney. We have won those, and lost rhe main quest.

We would be saying this about any team.

Wouldnt be a worry in the world had we played better toward end of year. Get that offense fixed, pitching is fine.

That was funny. After he benched more than half the starters. Anyone wondering what Tony is doing is crazy. He forced the normal mid.week guys to go win against the try hard dores. Loser bracket he might do similar. If he does it is all process to get the real closers pissed off. It can always backfire, but this is not the scenario to lean in with everything we got on a team with limited starters.

Lastly none of us should want TN a #1 seed in WS. The last time that team won it all was more than 2 decades ago.

You suggested we hadn't played well down the stretch. All we did was win 9 straight series in the #1 conference in college baseball and come back to steal an SEC title share.

I'd say playing on an upswing heading into the postseason is good news for us.

Eh, we already have clinched a top 8 national seed. Who cares. Conference tournaments don’t mean squat in baseball or in hoops.

I don’t mind our arms getting rest for the regionals. The road to Omaha runs through Knoxville. That matters.
