Any sports fan can get it right away.

They were bottom of the English soccer pyramid and now 2 promotions in 3 years. 2 more promotions and they'd be in the Premier League. Incredibly hard to do. Not unprecedented though. Luton Town is in the Premier League this year and they started where Wrexham did only 9 years ago. I love the stories like this in any league or sport that has relegation/promotion.
