Yeah. It's kinda his freaking job.

It makes no sense to try and make a guy who is working to save his country the bad guy for trying anything he can to save his country. It's his freaking job. He would be derelict in his duties to do anything less.

He's already been crying for them indirectly, but I think it is 50/50 on "NATO" getting involved. I don't think some countries have the appetite for it. But what you will likely see is a move by individual countries (Poland, France, The Baltic States... Romania. But it likely won't be "⁸NATO".
