I only remember calling drinks what they were called. I would ask for a sprite...or an orange drink...or a mello yello. Never understood the point of asking if they had soft drinks in the house, that was a given back then.

Used to go to my "big mama's" house in monteagle when I was a very little kid and drink rc in the bottle and eat moon pies, it is one of my first memories as a kid. I was 5 when she died but I remember her. will always love RCs.

I like it for nostalgia too, it's OK as an adult but good memories. Not with moon pies though, smores and soda is a gross combo

I have the exact same memory - just at a great aunt's in Pulaski.

I still like an RC and a vanilla moon pie every once in awhile but like you said, its nostalgia more than anything. I don't have the s'mores problem with it but I'm grown now and its just kind of for old times sake. I don't crave them.

I will never understand taking a 3-0 pitch. I never did it when I played. The vast majority of the time the next pitch is gonna be a good pitch. Take a swing.
