Not in your league, best handicap I had was +4 for a half dozen years after I retired. But had 4 over the years. One was crazy luck as a kid, the other three were good shots that just found the hole - two with a PW and one with a 5 iron. But far better than any of those in my mind was the one albatross I had. Driver and a two hybrid. That was the one I will always remember. I retired the hybrid after that one.

It is insane how it happens when there are far better golfers like yourself still waiting on one. Hope you get it and let us all know about it!
4 Aces is impressive.............but the Double Eagle.........Just WOW! 👍

Thanks! I put the hybrid up on the wall to display in the man cave and still smile every time I look at it. Good thing I got it when I did. Nothing but back issues and a case of the shingles since that season.

Pulling for you, bud. Keep us informed.

I gotton pissed after a shot......and hit another one......and made that one three times 😭
I've flown it in the hole five times.............Two went in the water:mad:
I've made three standing on a par 3 in a beat the Pro contest 🫢

Maybe one day.....................

You were great to get to +4.................I didn't keep a hdcp during my years on mini-tours, but lowest I ever officially got to was +6

You giving a scratch 4 shots, or 6 shots, just doesn't seem right.

All golfers...........
If you haven't seen the Shells Wonderful World of Golf match with Hogan vs Snead in 1965 at the Champions Club in Houston.....................Watch it today.
Ball striking in it's purest form.........

It was clever.

Far more clever than anything you've ever written on here. That's for certain.
Geez dude…scorched earth! Did it marinate better letting it fester a practical week? You’re not DOMINATING or “embarrassing” anybody but yourself.

putt-putt?
Nope-----been playing golf a looooooong time. I've averaged about 240 rounds a year in the last 14 years. I get up and play golf pretty much every day. Seven days a week until I just have to give it up to rest my body.

My club dues run roughly $9K a year but when you play 240 rounds, that's a piece of cake.

We are seeing why Amick was a DH primarily at Clemson. Part of the deal to get him here was to play IF. Good with the bad.
If there’s a better move at 3B and have BA DH and it helps the greater team then TV needs to make that move and BA needs to learn to accept that. This is a TEAM game.

IIRC the BBF was suggesting Curley @ 3B, Ariel @ SS and BA as DH.

Nice…….
I’ve played for 47 years. Never made one
Witnessed 25
I started playing golf in 1971 when I got out of the Air Force and have never stopped. I retired in 2010, when I turned 62, and all 5 of my holes in one have happened in retirement.

When I was working, I had a great job that gave me the opportunity to play in 16 Pro Am's with some great pros.

Danny Thomas Memphis classic at Colonial CC---numerous times
FedEx at Southwind--numerous times
Sara Lee Classic in Nashville---LPGA---numerous times
Pensacola Open the year before it moved to Tiger Point
Byron Nelson in Las Colinas---twice
Colonial in Ft Worth
Nationwide tour in Springfield Mo

Customer golf and vendor outings at some of the best courses in the country and Mexico. I wouldn't trade those experiences and memories for anything in the world.

Lots of people hate golf but if you're good at it, there's nothing like it

My original post on this topic said to disqualify football from the list, it’s really baseball vs basketball.

But of course, I can tell you have never fielded a piss missle of a ground ball then threw it to first base, chased down a fly ball, or tried to hit the cutoff man while a runner is rounding third headed home. Much less try to hit a 90mph heater that has 15 inches of movement
Said earlier I hit 90 during HS. Pitched and played 3rd base, so I've seen some piss missiles. One or two took a bounce into my face 😅

I've also taken a bat to the forehead and ended up with stitches like Frankenstein Baseball ain't the safe sport it's made to be 🤣

This gif always freaks me out. The girl looks like a younger version of a friend of mine.
BTW my friend is originally from Belarus. 😎

Happy Saturday. This one may be a good message for the baseball team too. New day leave the past behind.

April 20, 2024: This is a new day, a new beginning when you can actually leave the past behind and reach for what is ahead. I have a plan and purpose for your life that will be fulfilled as you continue to seek My face for guidance and direction, says the Lord. You have given yourself to Me, and you are Mine. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
