He is getting rid of a lot of players that were not doing much at all. I am sure he will replace them with better players.

That or they are just moving on. He’s going to need players to field a team so they are going to have to take a bunch of portal players.

Foresee them having some chemistry issues next season. Amoore and Strack are talented but both will have a big adjustment to the physicality and size in the SEC. As well as the way the games are called.

Exactly practice plays a huge role. He gonna have to bring in player he has NO intention of playing

Only one I heard talk, but I expect that most will stay they might now like how it turns out but they will be here come May 3rd.
The rest don’t have many option anyway, at least they will get to play here, but no elite player will ever play in this system.

She is about the only one I wanted to stay and Cooper who I haven't even see play. I'm not worried about losing some of them unless we become team Marshall then that would be disturbing.
Cooper and Boyd can stay as well since I haven’t seen them play either.

SAM has yet to prove she can recruit the players needed at UT. When Kellie was hired, I commented she should keep Holly's recruiter at the time. Kellie did not and now we see hiring friends and thinking the Lady Vols name would allow her to pick like UCONN and SC does. Kim needs a top recruiter at whatever price.....not keeping SAM.
I’m starting to believe that y’all don’t fully understand recruiting. And if he’s throwing out all this money then why didn’t he do it for Coach Harper? If what some of y’all have been saying is true then it sounds like he was being quite shady towards Harper. If the NIL money will be better for the new coach then why didn’t he do it for Harper?

I’m just assuming like everyone else here but if I had to guess it’s because he didn’t hire Kellie, he wants his hire to succeed because that’s how he will get the credit.

What elite players are signing up to sub in and out every 2 minutes.

I've played in this defensive system, full-court press baseline to baseline 40 minutes of hell. It's hard to go 100% for much longer than 3 minutes at a time. Imagine trying to run a mile at a dead sprint and then shoot a 3-pointer with proficiency. Turn that into half a mile and it's doable.

It's a really fun defensive system.

Marshall's top player averaged 30 minutes/game. With slight adjustments, it could work and make the top players happy. Your starting 5 could be in for the first and last 3.5 minutes of every quarter. Based on Marshall's minutes stats, that kind of looks like her normal pattern.

This is stats from LV and Marshall this year. Check out minutes played and compare. My question is will the minutes played disparity keep us from recruiting elite portal players and HS kids?

Spear played the same minutes/g as Beeman. Something isn't adding up.

No player averaged 30 min per game.

Least gives them a breather. Her system may just work it’s different from what we’ve seen before
So I watched this game. Pat would love the press and she would love the high volume shooting. Pat was willing to change the LV style of play and did. Sometimes it was to accommodate a player’s style: Parker could play any position. When Pat saw the women’s game changing, she learned the Princeton offense. CKC’s players can play any position. It’s the SEC, so we do need some taller players, but lots of you are calling for a post who is agile and quicker. I’m excited about Caldwell.
