No turn. 09 used the word serviceable, and you agreed. Not advocating Marshall players should come here at all. Though 09 used those 3 to somehow again criticize Kellie, it wasn’t even about that. Maybe sentimental, but I thought so highly of those three particular players, just had to say so.
I don't think we are disagreeing. "Serviceable" was only used in reference to Franklin, who unfortunately was hobbled by her knee injury and never had much impact against bigger teams or SEC competition.
But again, my point is not about specific LVs for whom fans form emotional attachments but a general recruiting principle. It is like saying, well since Dalton Knecht turned out to be great, Barnes should only look at players who began their careers at junior colleges. If you scour long and hard enough at that level, you will find a few decent (and maybe once every five to ten years the rare very good player, (ala Shannon Bobbitt for the LVs) but you won't build an elite team that way.
