Name me 3 politicians in office right now that you would look to and refer your closest kin to as people and models of great character and integrity.Fine with me, I could care less about someone’s religious beliefs, gender, race, etc.
Their character and integrity matters most and Trump has neither.
I could name far more than three but I refuse to play your nonsensical game. It’s simply your attempt to deflect because you know that you can’t defend Trump’s integrity or character. That’s your problem, not mine.Name me 3 politicians in office right now that you would look to and refer your closest kin to as people and models of great character and integrity.
Just 3.

Ok. I'm gonna try to do this without any search engine help.Holding office.
(Also. I’m sure YOU can find 3. BUT I doubt they will be very well known. Let’s see what you come up with.)
I’ll give you 2 out of those 3.Ok. I'm gonna try to do this without any search engine help.
Mike Pence. Weird by our standards but seems to be high character to a fault.
Mitt Romney. Not a good leader but good character and integrity.
Tulsi Gabbard.
That was very difficult.
How'd I score?
Completely agree with your premise. The people on this board are far better than just about anybody in DC especially the ones running for president.I’ll give you 2 out of those 3.
I’m not buying Mitt Romney. But that’s my personal opinion.
Look, I’m not saying every single representative is an evil, lying, snake in the grass. I’m just saying if we are looking for individuals of high character and great integrity, DC isn’t the place to look imo. Sure, if we compare them to eachother, some will emerge as generally well intentioned.
The guy that works his a** off to put food on the table. Is generous with his time and money. Cares greatly for those around him. Sacrifices his wants and desires for his family and friends. Has a desire to do things the right way, every time etc. Are those types in DC? Maybe. But they certainly aren’t running for President in 2024. So I’ll vote for the one that closest aligns to my policy positions.

ETA: I just realized all 3 are no longer holding office. Epic fail.

I'm not a huge fan of Romney...but if that was true all the time, then wouldn't he have gotten on the Trump Train? Today, he is completely out of step from where the political winds in his own party are blowing.I must disagree with you on Romney and him being of high character. I tend to believe people of high character will stick to their beliefs, Romney flaps in the wind like a towel on a clothes line, he goes wherever the political winds are blowing and thinks will benefit him.
Are you suggesting there aren't any? Or aren't many? There are a lot. Every individual in Congress right now--House and Senate--as more character and integrity than Trump. Every one. I wouldn't have said that of Santos, of course--but he got kicked out of Congress. A gangster wannable. That's not to say--at all--that every person in Congress has a high level of integrity and character, but they all have more than Trump. There are PLENTY of crackpots and idiots in the House, a few in the Senate--but even those people are decent human beings. Trump is not a decent human being. He's completely indecent in every possible way.

That is stupid. There is no way in hell that Liz Cheney thought opposing Trump would be politically beneficial to her in a state like Wyoming. Damn, that was a ridiculous thing to say. She voted with Trump's stated position as much as anyone in the House of Reps.No. I think he was looking at it the same way Cheney was, thought opposing Trump would be most beneficial for him.
