I don't follow the LV all that closely, but my biggest think I've seen/read Kelly just isn't bringing in the talent she's losing.
Rickea and Key carry this team and they're gone after this season. What's she's going to do then?

It won't. They are able to detect weird betting patters like this precisely because it is legal. In the past, you would have had weird betting patters like this and nobody knew because it was underground.

I don't either. Some of the insiders have talked about how she has both recruiting and development problems. If she didn't get Rickea Jackson out of the portal, they probably would have been a bubble team the last couple of years.

I know she's an alum and a bridge back to the Pat years, but I was still kind of surprised she got the job to begin with. She'd already been given a major conference job at NC State and that didn't go well. As soon as they hired Wes Moore from UTC, they immediately improved.

That’s the lineup

I’d look at season long Mike props honestly. I haven’t checked what’s out there yet (will before Thursday) but I’d be shocked if he finished the year at 6. Getting him out of the bottom 3rd lets me know they aren’t stubborn on him. The current construction makes no sense from a platoon split standpoint. Maybe they come around on that, maybe they don’t.

So, I actually just read in the RF apparently the NC State coach that just beat Kelly recommended her to Fulmer. I agree on Rickea she's carried a pretty meh roster since she's been here.

Imo Walz the coach from Louisville is the best answer, I remember he wanted the job in the past, but would he take it now after he got passed over? My other question is how do you satisfy a pretty large portion of the LV faithful who demand the coach be a woman, and one of Pat's former players?

Way easier said than done but they need to move on from that, because thinking that way can be a millstone for a program. People who think that way don't see it like this, but they are essentially saying that the most important thing is finding an LV alum, not finding the best person for the job.

Wes Moore is a hell of a coach. I wonder why he didn't want the job if offered? Him recommending Kellie is that trite, being nice thing that all coaches do and Phil fell for it. She's the coach he replaced at NC State.

I'm guessing at the time, it probably had a lot to do with out AD situation being a mess.
