He’s denied and disavowed. Unless there’s a Tik Tok of him smoking a cig and throwing wads of cash at wrestling midgets, this goes away.

Shohei was gambling. That guy and shohei are closer than brothers. I doubt he’d have access to Ohtani’s bank that wasn’t allowed by Ohtani himself. There was even a clause in his contract that he could leave if ippei was ever fired.

Everyone has vices, and like Pete Rose, I don’t really care as long as he didn’t bet against himself. But this is a cover up, and Ippei is the fall guy from what I can gather so far.

But while he’s only a freshman, I’m not sure Stojakovic can get his own shot like DK. I didn’t really watch Stanford- just what was stated.

Me neither. I dont know anything about stojakovic other than someone compared him to Knecht apparently? And I don’t know if Knecht could create his own shot as a freshman. Didn’t he have a late growth spurt? Just responding to the claim this guys not shooting well or playing defense and how I don’t know that that makes the comparison invalid since I don’t personally consider Knecht a great defender and I think his growth into who he is caught everyone off guard.

And everyone is going to be looking for the next Knecht. I think his drive and work ethic are probably what stand out the most about his ascension. That’s probably what I would be curious about if the people making the comparison think this guy will eat, sleep, and breathe basketball and getting better like Knecht does. If he has that and the measurables, and can grow in a premier strength and conditioning program, why couldn’t he be the next Knecht? Also, the translation of the production from northern Colorado to SEC, was a huge question. Stanford to SEC comparatively is not as big a jump to make. I do know this, if this guys got Knecht potential, I hope we pursue him.
