It is interesting. I don't like either candidate and will not vote for either, but in the grand scheme of things as white american male that earns a decent living. Trump being in the white house won't affect me in any real sense. I will earn more money and pay more taxes just like every other 4 year period.

My point is that the tweet in question was no more absurd and void of relevance than most of the crap people use to support their position.

The whole "are you better off today than you were 4 years ago?" nonsense is rooted in that type of dis "information".

Just curious as to who you think would be a replacement with the best chance to win?
Whoever the Democrats were to select though still has to carefully thread a very difficult problem; be tough enough on Israel to win the Arab American and Youth vote without tanking support among older Americans and supporters of Israel.
The Gaza conflict couldn’t have come at a worse time politically for the Democrats.

Anyone younger than 60 who can walk and talk.

I'm still of the school of thought that the "anybody but Trump" vote will be sufficient for Biden, but if polls make it appear that Americans may actually be insane enough to elect Trump, then Biden is off the ticket.

He won't be off the ticket. Many polls have shown Trump beating any of the replacement candidates by even more. All the dems had to do is take care of the southern border and they could have probably won.

The fantasy becomes more whimsical and less likely with each passing day.
The window of opportunity is closing. Replacement needs enough time for voters to connect and hear policy positions. Nov is 9 months away.

country that we used to flatter ourselves as being. Far too many rubes, simpletons, backward christian crazies. It's the rural problem--too little education, too little exposure to other people/cultures and thus very narrow-minded, too much religion, too little information.
