Dusty May might not be a very good coach. They brought back a final 4 team and they had this type of performance? Really bad.

As with most teams, their FF run had some luck involved. Squeaked by Memphis (Memphis was up 1 with the ball with 19 seconds left); got Fairleigh Dickinson in the second round; got us in the SS, and we were without ZZ and were a bit deficient on offense; but then beat a good KSU team in the EE. Run was magical.

Scattershooting wondering how that “excitement” the St Peters players experienced when hearing their opponent was the Vols turned out.

Well he built the team up to being very good and I mean they played at a really high level most of the time this year. He just didn't manage them well.

When they beat Arizona it was probably the most high level game I've seen all year. Crazy he couldn't get that team to be more consistent.

He deserves credit for assembling a good team. Also has to be recognized that this season probably is a more accurate display of his coaching ability. Last season was a magical run.
