you haven’t been. attacked….. you just have an unpopular opinion…. I have a ton of unpopular opinions….couple of mine…. i don’t think Barnes is a good tourney coach and i feel like to have a truly successful basketball season that you have to make it to an elite eight or further…. these two opinions have me at checkerboard level according to most on here…. That’s ok bc we all have different opinions and love the Vols!

I never said anything about your opinion on how the games will unfold, only about how you will gloat if your prediction comes true. You don’t find that a bit odd for someone to say that about their own favorite team losing? Not even asking you to take the high road. Not exactly a huge sacrificial high road to simply NOT gloat over your own team losing. As long as you are right I guess is what matters most to you. Carry on. I won’t comment further.

I think they've tried everything. This is it. Coaches, sports psych, teammates and family can only do so much. He has so much support. He either finds it in himself or he doesn't.

Hate to hear that for the guy. I am hopeful the whole team has shaken the yips loose. Good grief we've shot poorly lately.

Yeah, I am really tired of all the scams they run for the cash and sell it like it is great for the game.

It is all so convoluted and arbitrary, which devalues the body of work over the course of a season.

Now that the bracket is done, go back and look at it again through the lens of TV ratings, matchups, and storylines.
Tennessee, just for example:
The first round - a game which would normally have lower viewership and looks to be a blowout, has the storyline of ZZ facing his brother.
Round two - a potential matchup between Rick Barnes and his old team Texas.
Sweet Sixteen - not likely but a potential rematch with USCjr. USCjr. does have one of the highest potential of the lower seeded teams to pull of an upset.
Elite Eight - Edey vs. Knecht.
Final Four - rubber match between UT and UK, both teams were embarrassed by the other on their home floor in the regular season.
Championship - a not unlikely matchup between UT and Alabubba.
If you look at the bracket you'll see a lot of potential games designed to boost TV ratings.
