This has been a horrible sports weekend. Our bracket will probably have Purdue, Houston and North Carolina in it.
My sports weekend was worse…. I’m in New York City….. My son was playing on a brand new travel baseball team…. He had a complete meltdown committing three errors…… not hitting a single ball except a weak pop up…. Today he wouldn’t even swing the bat in two plate appearances… He fell down taken a ball and had his teammates yelling at him to swing. Is it ok if I miss all of his games? LOL I have to figure out how to help him with the mental sifr(definitely not my strong suit) He is one of the more talented kids on the team skill wise but he can’t be afraid to play. Not the best of sports weekends. Next weekend will be better
how old but baseball is a game of failure and how you respond to that is what matters more than the results. Babe Ruth was one if not the best players to ever play the game at a high level and he struck out more than any other player in history. It is ok to fail but not ok to let failure win. Just keep grinding and remember to make it fun. Baseball is fun.My sports weekend was worse…. I’m in New York City….. My son was playing on a brand new travel baseball team…. it’s not failure that i am concerned with…. he had a complete mental breakdown…. wouldn’t swing on day 2 and even fell down at the plate…. It was mental instead of just making bad plays….
