Ea, maybe Fields and Wilson can play rock, paper, scissors to see who starts..

They want Wilson to start and to work on Fields being the future starter….. I would rather Wilson play good enough to hold the job with Fields taking over next year if he improves…. Either way…. Our qb situation is much better this year without having to mortgage our future.

Here's a thought: I think the Vols could have won regular season or conference titles in any league this season. Definitely Pac12. Probably ACC (I still think we are better than UNC).

I think we would have figured out how to beat Purdue at least once, and I don't think we would have dropped as many conference games outside of Purdue.

Big12 would be toughest imo, but similar to SEC. I think we'd got 50/50 with Houston. Drop a couple other games though.

Big East is hard for me to judge.

I just read Fields will not compete for the starting job vs Wilson. . .

they said Wilson is going into camp as the starter…. don’t think that is the same as won’t compete for the job…. Tomlin loves the guy…. If wilson doesn’t show anything…. they won’t hesitate to go to Fields.
