I hope they keep us out of the UCONN and Houston brackets. They seem to be hands down the two best teams. Even before today Purdue didn’t scare me. It’s a giant force in the middle and a bunch of mediocre players who are good outside shots.

Haha, Purdue. . .

They gonna go back to the "conference tournaments dont matter" real quick. (Not that it matters for purrdew anyway)

I hope we're in Purdue's bracket.
If they fall out of the overall No. 1 spot, it’s a real possibility. Detroit is closer to Knoxville than Dallas or Boston.

Edit - For reference:
- Detroit: 512mi
- Dallas: 843mi
- Boston: 920mi

How many home games into the football season do you think pass before I get arrested for flying a drone near a flyover?

They fly right over my neighborhood before the games. They look really low, but they're probably at least a min of 1,500ft up. I'm restricted to 400' above the highest spot near me. I can cheat and go up to about 1,700ft, but wouldn't do it. I'd hate for something really crappy to happen because I'm acting like a moron.

I don't think the faa restricts low level drone flight when flyovers are happening. I'll be interested to see if they do issue any flight restrictions the week of the game, since they practice the flight all week. I'd like to see something like that C17 Globemaster flying about 1,000' away. . . or a fighter jet. . .

you will most likely be in a no fly zone. not worth the risk.

Triple check the regs. Call the FAA and ask if you must. I wouldn't even mess with it. That's federal charges and they aren't going to give you a warning.

All restrictions pop up on the app when I remote ID before flight. If it's a "no fly zone," it won't let me launch.

I'd be surprised if they don't restrict it though. Or, if I want to fly during that time, I may have to request clearance for the time frame and will probably be limited to 100'

Maybe. I've checked flight aware & Air Control and nothing issued in the area last year. They may restrict it, I'll definitely check (my drone won't launch in no-fly zones anyway)
When Sally takes over your drone and crashes a fighter jet into the stadium, she won't be around holding the controller when the Feds show up.

College basketball has no idea how to officiate big guys. If they get the ball low and go up they preemptively blow the whistle because they are so big of course you touched them. With the boiler giant it's just egregious because he somehow never touched anyone on defense and has active camouflage on so he can set up a tent in the paint and live there the entire possession

If I had to guess, I think there’s a good chance that UT ends up as a 2 in the Midwest with Purdue. Best case scenario after yesterday.

Closer travel to Detroit, if we take care of business in Omaha. And I think we all know that we match up better with Purdue than UConn and especially Houston.

Besides Edey, Purdue plays a finesse style.

If not the Midwest, hopefully the East region. I don’t want to see Houston, until we have to.
