Dang , they got blown out! Not even close !

Did they all stay up partying last pm? What a disappointing loss, hopefully they pick themselves up by their bootstraps and put this behind them and bust their rears off for either their next or their last game of the season

It's a crapshoot for sure.

This team will get bounced in the first or second round book it. Way too inconsistent to make it very far in tournament play.
LOL. Don't you even want to see the bracket first? This forum is reactionary .... and no, they were not inconsistent this season. They didn't play that poorly against Kentucky. The only thing wrong with that game is Kentucky was unconscious from behind the arc.

When 3 is not on we get our ass kicked, State showed a blue print to stop 3, the others looked afraid to shoot the ball, we will go as far as 3 will take us.

I see that the morons are out in full force. So tired of seeing the vitriol on here after any loss. It is so predictable.

No men’s basketball team has gone undefeated in nearly 50 years (Indiana in ‘76, look it up). It is ridiculous to hold our program to that standard.

Did our team look like dog crap today? Yes. Did we get our arses kicked? Yes. Did it suck to watch it? Yes.

But, it’s not our first loss of the year…or even our first bad loss. We’ve bounced back all season long. Let’s see how we respond next weekend before giving up on the season.

The talking heads are “gleeful” that TN lost. They so badly want NC to be the 4th no. 1 seed and not TN…..makes me sick. Glad KY lost too! Ha!

Nothing good ever happens when players begin to believe the hype. No matter how many people tell you are good, you have to prove it every time you step on the court, field, pitch, etc.

News flash: Basketball players don't wear boots. Just kidding you.

Baskeball is a game of matchups. We don't match-up well with State.

Their point guard Matthews is 6' 7". ZZ at 5' 9" could not be expected to guard him so we had to match him up with a wing who was not quick enough to stay with him.

D.J. Jefferies is 6' 7" and very long and atheletic. He made Dalton K look guardable. After Dalton missed an easy dunk you had too realize he is tired. Needs a few days off before the real tournament.

State's Murphy, and Bell both at 6' 10" made Awaka at 6'8" look small. Made us play 6' 11" Estrada, who is not ready for the SEC yet. State's 6' 11" Smith is a force on the low block. Aidoo struggled to score over him.

Three of our 4 SEC losses were against Mississippi State, South Carolina, and Kentucky. All three were in our path to win the tournament.

If your going to lose do it today and rest for a few days. Come out ready for the important tournament. Doubt we see a tougher match up than State for us in the NCAA tournament.

Well Carolina is a blue blood and we are not the media also loves them. They also handled us pretty good back in December. We don’t deserve a one seed after losing our last two games especially with that putrid performance today. I will be happy with the 2 seed.
