I asked ChatGPT (just to see)No, I'm arguing that they are the same. Both are examples of white supremacy.
On one hand you have white dirtbags that believe people should be segregated and discriminated against because of their skin color.
On the other you have white dirtbags that believe people cannot succeed without their "help" because of their skin color.
Both are equally racist. The difference is one hates and the other pitties but both think being white makes them superior.
@hog88“Is it more racist to hate black people because of they are black or to pity black people because of they are black?”
@hog88
Let's try this from a different angle :
Is it more racist to engage in the mass murder of black people just because of their skin color .... or to embark on a misguided effort to help black people find employment and get an education through quotas?
Trump tapped into America's pre-existent bigotry. He didn't invent, he just recognized what was there, and how deeply embedded it is into a large base of the American psyche. He then played and used it to the hilt. The saddest thing is the accuracy and massive success of his betting on it. Without that fortunate *for him) lucky spark, he'd just be a buffoon nobody took seriously or paid attention unto, except for the laughs he was good for. It's not dumb to point out that white supremacist groups are far right extremists .... and they have lately, found a kinship with Trump. Trump's Muslim ban won a great deal of their support.
Right .... and following the first black President was perfect timing for Trump. White resentment was flourishing in the summer of 2015. There had been this "uppity n***er" forced upon racists, and they were ready for a radical revolt.Trump tapped into America's pre-existent bigotry. “Is it more racist to hate black people because of they are black or to pity black people because of they are black?”
The response:
Both attitudes stem from prejudice and are harmful in their own ways. Hating someone because of their race is a form of overt racism, which directly perpetuates discrimination and inequality. On the other hand, pitying someone solely because of their race can also be harmful, as it perpetuates stereotypes and undermines the individual's capabilities and agency.
In both cases, individuals are being judged and treated unfairly based solely on their race, which is unjust and contributes to systemic racism. It's essential to recognize the dignity and worth of every individual regardless of their race and to challenge any attitudes or behaviors that perpetuate discrimination or inequality.
Forgot about Obama’s role in all this.Right .... and following the first black President was perfect timing for Trump. White resentment was flourishing in the summer of 2015. There had been this "uppity n***er" forced upon racists, and they were ready for a radical revolt.
There she is! The MAGA-beech is officially out of the sewer! She was always down there just waiting to crawl out, and now here she is. The Beast of Revelation has called, and the False Prophet is leading her by the nose ring. At along, long, long last.Right .... and following the first black President was perfect timing for Trump. White resentment was flourishing in the summer of 2015. There had been this "uppity n***er" forced upon racists, and they were ready for a radical revolt.
Trump is a autocrat wannabe. Have you and the rest of MAGA not grasped that by now? Did you not catch his comments about Orban the other day? He likes autocrats--likes that that can do what they want, completely---strong arm people, arrest and jail critics, shut down opposition.
Trump doesn't know $hit about NATO or anything else--he's a total ignoramus about everything. But the fact that he's got this bug up his butt about NATO is proof positive that he's a Putin stooge. And it has nothing to with EU countries boosting their defense spending---that's just his cover. Putin's wet dream has been to break up NATO--and now it's been strengthened.
That a U.S. president--or in the gangsters case now, an ex-president--would have such a negative view of NATO--a bedrock of our foreign policy--makes him a serious security threat, as does the fact that he's a corrupt businessman, as does the fact that he now owes huge sums of money and has accepted money from foreign sources in the past.
He's clearly a stooge for Russia and Putin--no doubt in part because Russian mafia have bought a lot of his condos (laundering dirty money) and in doing so have helped bolster his business. His son has said as much in the past. He's also long tried to get trump-branded hotels/condos in Moscow--with others fronting the construction money, of course. He was //fervently// trying to get a deal in Moscow right up to the '16 election. Trump lied and said he'd stopped trying to do a deal in Moscow with Putin a year before the election. But Cohn, his former right-hand man and lawyer, said he was lying and has published email traffic between him and Trump showing that Trump was badgering him to get a deal done up until days/weeks before the election.
Notice how the gangster is always praising Putin and that fat Hungarian pariah, Viktor Orban--but he never has anything positive to say about our many allies in Europe, starting with Britain? Strange? Uh, yea. Doesn't want to help Ukraine when it is obviously and strongly in America's interest, and the interest of Europe, to help Ukraine win this war. Trump is the new Neville Chamberlain--and who doubts that Trump would take money from an American enemy if he needed it--which he does. MAGA are determined to ignore how deeply corrupt the man is.
Trump is also the perfect mark for Putin--a former KGB man. He's a corrupt, narcissistic businessman who has spent his entire life trying to be a big shot or to show people that he's a big shot. He's also completely ignorant and naive about foreign/geopolitical affairs. U.S. social media was infested with Russian propaganda/bots in the runup to the '16 election--most definitely played a role in the election. FACT. I'm sure Putin reminded the gangster of that fact during their meetings. Trump would never admit it, of course--going so far as to make a fool of himself in Helsinki when he stood up at a press conference and said that Putin had told him he hadn't meddled in our election and that he believed him--despite the fact that our intelligence agencies had made it clear to him for weeks/months that Russia had meddled. One of the most embarrassing/disgraceful moments in the history of the presidency. So he's the PERFECT stooge/mark for a sinister man like Putin--and Putin certainly has been playing him. There's no doubt about that--and Trump's views on NATO are proof.
Clearly you don’t read many Turbo posts. He or she is quite repetitive. Maybe some people can see patterns and apply said patterns to current situations. That’s not quite the same as being clairvoyant but if you prefer thinking that then cool. The number of clairvoyants that inhabit this thread is truly amazing.
