Let’s be honest. Almost every team has been paying kids for decades. It’s nothing like it is now. And let’s be honest about something else. If not for coaches like Saban, there would be a ton of kids never attending college or getting to the pros.

Funny how in Fulmers prime there was no NIL or portal and we were in better shape than we are now. You think the playing field is leveling out? How?

It is still a valid point…. Titans traded a better receiver who was younger and received a similar extension in 2023…. Then turned around and signed a 29 yr old receiver…. In 2022…. only 6 of the top 25 receivers were between the ages of 28-30…. none over the age of 30…. It’s a pretty risky signing but it may work out for the Titans.

Yeah I was shocked when my wife told me last week her's was $60 and she doesn't even get champagne with it like at this stylist's old place


Luckily my wife dgaf about shopping or expensive clothes or other material garbage.

That and we keep separate accounts...major plus for happiness in couples. $$$ is the biggest reason for relationship problems and they all got joint accounts scrutinizing each other for spending "their" money So much easier when you never see it, but comfortable knowing she has an 800 credit score, invests into her SEP IRA, and saves better than you do.

We would never have separate accounts, and we've never had big relationship issues...my brother and sister in law do have separate accounts and always have major issues.

The problem is selfish self centered behavior...not accounts

Our household views marriage as two becoming one in the image of Christ, so we've never really thought to separate accounts. Whether there are separate accounts or joint accounts, arguments about money are generally/often symptomatic of underlying relationship issues elsewhere. It's not always healthy to treat symptomatically.

When I was married our home was one income. She stayed at home by choice and took care of babies. As far as the money went, she took care of finances . For 10 years couldn't tell you how much we had in bank account lol. As long as bills were paid I didn't give a damn what she done with rest of the money.
