Basic premise is that a mining company opens a rift into another world where the Yetis and Sasquatches fled to when they were being hunted by man. Well, they have had centuries of hatred building up and want payback.

Kinda a gruesome book. Has a sequel too. But it is pretty good. I listened to the Audible audiobook version.

We have a mini Aussie. Pure breed dog that we got from a rescue adoption center. Beautiful dog. She tries to herd us on walks. She was given up for adoption two separate times. She now has severe separation anxiety anytime I take our dogs to the vet or kennel. She thinks that she is being abandoned again. However , she is starting to realize that she has a permanent home.

Texans have no clue that their greatest historical figures are from Tennessee. They crow about the great state of Texas until I learn ‘em. They all get this confused look on their faces and concede.

We rescued a chocolate lab. It would be hard to ever go another direction. Always wanted chill. Not sure id get that with and Aussie. They are beautiful tho.

The Illinois catcher had already been warned, but I think the umpires warned both teams. I don’t think Burke specifically had been warned, but the the Illinois catcher had words with Stark previously.

I do wonder if it is time to make a change for the Lady Vols and if so the number one criteria needs to be the future coach DOES NOT NEED TO BE A VFL. Way too many good coaches out there to pigeon hole yourself with such a silly requirement. There was only ONE Pat.........

Weren’t VFLs when they got here. But I believe that all 3 are now. I don’t think that there’s anyplace that they would rather be. JMO of course, but maybe the Lady Vols boosters should seek the truth. If the coach is a good quality person, they will become a VFL in short order… they should trust DW to find the right coach for LV basketball.

I see it now, on the investigative Sunday shows or a 30-for-30 about fan violence. Tennessee will be the inventors of storming the field/court, throwing stuff on the field/court and anything else that is bad about sports. Checker boards, Blue Ticks, Daniel Boone, and Pantone 151 will all be labeled symbols of hate and banned.
We will receive a lifetime ban from all conference and post-season games, only cupcake out of conference games and all wins will be vacated.

Now that is just crazy talk.

The VolNation would rise up and destroy all who blasphemed against our holy traditions and the glory of Pantone 151.
By the time we’re finished, they would be singing Rocky Top to begin all sporting events.

I just rewatched the final play of the Lady Vols game. I’m still fuming…did Kelly tell them not to pressure the shooter or was that just an ignorant in the moment decision? Regardless, it’s still abhorrent! But if it was Holly’s call not to pressure, that’s literally Coaching 101 and she should be fire immediately for utter ignorance.
