Yes...very much looking forward to it!Any of you planning on watching the " Fallout" show? Trailer looks pretty good.
According to the rules, a quick pitch is illegal. The umpire must determine that the batter has his feet set, eyes toward the pitcher, and bat ready to hit in order for any pitch to be legal. It’s gotten sped up with the pitch clock, but most batters know to not step totally out of the box. So, yea, the batter does kind of have to show eye contact before a pitcher can pitch it.I seriously doubt there's a rule that says pitchers have to make eye contact with batters haha
Amazing how bad Denver has been since Peyton. Since 2015 they haven’t sniffed double digit wins.Worst trade in NFL history, imo, what the Broncos gave up for Wilson...also, what they gave up to get Sean Payton, to try and fix the sh!tshow; and, still forking out money for him to play for someone else. Brutal!!!
In other words, two wrongs don’t make a right….Using a word like fibbing doesn’t change the fact that he lied to the organization that could have caused the university major problems. And the fact that the organization is a scumbag for not treating every school equally doesn’t change the fact that he did what he did.
I believe this is a hard rule that was put in place when the pitch timer was instituted.Supposed to according to hard rules or tradition? If that's a rule in college baseball, that eye contact must be made before a pitch, then that's the rule and ya gotta respect it.
In football the QB is supposed to wait until the defense runs out onto the field and looks up and gets set as well...according to tradition. Eff that says Hype and UT football.
Unless it's an actual rule, the onus is on the other team to get their house in order. You step in the box...better be ready to hit. Step onto the field...better be ready for the ball to be snapped ASAP.
If it's illegal and can be enforced, then ALL GOOD - refs need to then enforce it. Seems like an officiating issue at that point. Folks will push it if not enforced.
The ultimate defense is the very simple "hand up". At least when I was playing, just putting your hand out would make the ump allow you time to get extra set before a pitch.
