Lots of weak conferences this year.

The team sitting in 3rd in the B10 is unranked and projected to be a 9 seed in the tourney
Yes and Indiana State was projected as a 11 seed as a AQ now they lost tournament. Better hope the bigger conference tournaments doesn't have any surprise winners..

1 Quad1 win SOS 143 Non Conference SOS 314

Net ranking of 26 tho. Nebraska (team mentioned in previous post) has a net of 40.

Idk if they’ll get in but the metrics say they have a good shot

Prob doesn’t matter some years when there’s a clear cut top 4. This year there is debate so of course additional games would matter. If Vols would’ve beaten UK and Zona still lost, conf tourney likely wouldn’t matter.

Not sure what the complaint is.
Because it’s clear the SECT didn’t matter in 2022 when we should have been a 2 seed instead of a 3. We beat UK twice that year and had a very similar resume, and they got a 2. Duke also got a 2 with ours being comparable. It’s ok to admit that the committee changes their parameters, and human bias is part of it.

Lunardi got in a Twitter spat with Vol fans in 2022 because he stupidly said conference tournament games didn’t matter for seeding purposes in a misguided effort to justify us getting a 3-seed that year.

That’s why they keep bringing it up any time he mentions us battling it out for a one seed in the conference tourneys.
