If you don't guard the player inbounding, which is dumb, then you have five to guard 4 and there should be no way in the world you let someone catch and shoot completely uncontested.

It puts them in the same category as fla, nobody is in the same category as the bammers in anything. If losing to Kentucky means beating the Gumps then so be it. Its always bammer in every sport and then everybody else.

Kentucky is our biggest rival in basketball. Vandy is in baseball. No one in either fan community for those sports thinks Alabama is the biggest rival, or even close.

I thought we were due for a letdown, and I thought that I was prepared for the loss...but nope..I still feel like crap....I freaking hate Kentucky.

I told y'all those boys have tons of great shooters...they are nearly impossible to hold down.

We can probably kiss the #1 seed goodbye unless we win the tourney...but we are SEC champions and that is a great accomplishment...nobody can take that banner from us.

Except that we already beat UK this year. So, really it’s like beating Bama during the regular season and losing in the SECCG, knowing that we are already in the playoffs?

Nobody in their 20s maybe but I was raised from an early age that Bama hate trumps all. Raising my kids that way too. I've got plenty of hate to go around for all those other teams, but Bama gets the most. Matter of fact, its not close.

Maybe to you it is. We are the SEC champs. It was meaningless. Now has we lost to SC? Then it would have been a huge game.

I guarantee you it is meaningful to a whole lot of folks on here and to 100 % of the players and coaches on the team .

He said he had talked to SEC coaches and said they said TN was fool's gold. My guess was he talked to Nate Oates, Lamont Paris, and Nick Saban.

Sure he did…he talked to SEC coaches like Charissa Thompson talked to head coaches before her sideline reports.

I told the guys at work, back before Christmas, that UCONN is the best team in the NCAA this season.

Houston is great too and really fun to watch. Kelvin Sampson can flat out coach.

If I was ranking teams off what I've seen this season, I would put us 3rd and Purdue 4th.

We just don't have enough consistently good shooters to overcome when our defense can't shut a team down.

We are still what I said we were early in the season..a really good team with flaws that could win it all if everything goes right.

We could win it all if we have somebody besides Knecht get hot and stay hot while the team as a whole plays above their average on offense...we can't have clunkers unless we inflict a clunker on the team we are playing...we can't have a defensive letdown either.

We could win a NC, but there are a lot of teams that could..we are just not a dominant team.

Announcer calling our team fools gold really pissed me off. I am thinking it's a CBS signal that Arizona is going to be the one seed. IMO, If our guys play defense with the intensity that they did the last few minutes of that game, we should go far in NCAA--- even if our offense is quite a bit of Dalton Knecht.

that piece of ...I hope everybody dogs us...let this team play with a chip on their shoulder and not lose defensive intensity like they did somewhat today and see what happens.

One game with a banked shot winner shouldn’t sway it one way or the other. It’s a body of work.

I cannot get over how embarassing it was for Harper to not have her players defend the final shot. They all just stood there and let a 1st Team All American take an uncontested 3 for the win.

UConn is probably the only team that can beat us when we are at our best. Maaaaybe Houston too because of their defense.

Bodes well that UK had to play their absolute A game to barely win. If a team is just making every shot they take against you and you lose then that's just basketball.
