If Dalton Knecht can score 28 points today he will be at 650 points on the season, which would put him at 12th on the all-time list for most points in a season for a Tennessee player. If we are fortunate to play at least 5 more games the rest of the season and he keeps his scoring average of 20.7ppg then he would slot into 2nd on the all-time list. We are guaranteed 3 more games if we are one and done in both tournaments, which is highly unlikely. Realistically we probably have at least 6 or 7 games left in the season. That would put us into the SEC Championship and Sweet 16, which is very attainable. If we make it to the Elite 8 that makes it even more likely he breaks the all-time record. He could average 23.2ppg over those 8 games and be at 807 points, which is 1 more than Allan Houston’s mark.
