My guess is that this is nothing but a dog and pony act or at least I hope so. Tyson will help generate PPV buys and my guess is that there's a "gentleman's agreement" between the camps to keep things just a shade above a sparring session. I don't care who you are or how great an athlete you were, a man's body changes. A man that age getting hit....seriously hit...isn't a good thing. It's simply a joke....a money grab. Until folks stop paying money for this garbage, they'll keep trotting antiques with names out there for public consumption. Just a cut above rasslin' IMO.

They play football and get away with it. When I saw the officiating crew I knew the SEC had sent what got us beat several times this year. However, our guys learned well from the experiences and battled back. Make layups and dunks and we win by 15+. But that crew let them slap arms, shove and body people all night in the paint.

Most of the SEC will go down quickly in the NCAA. They will have to play real team basketball and most all of them are one dimensional. Depending on the seeding and draw, IMO Auburn is the only one with enough talent that can adjust somewhat besides our guys. We have learned to adjust to both the opponent and the officials and still win.

They're playing the style they have to play to be successful. Barnes was known for that exact style when he was at Clemson, and the ACC blue bloods HATED him. It's what sparked the bad blood with UNC fans and Dean Smith.

When you don't have the talent you have to have the toughness or the speed. And when you play teams that are less talented you have to expect a dog fight or a blitzkrieg.

Even their head coach said this in his press conference postgame: “maybe the SEC isn’t ready for us to be regular seasons champs”

Lol! Hilarious! I only got to watch the last half of the 2nd half, but imo they weren’t called for enough fouls especially in the last 4 mins. Our guys were getting hammered to the ground, and they were over the back on rebounds with no whistle against them. That’s part of the reason they made it too close for comfort. They were getting away with murder.

Alabama on road.
This should be a scoring fest Alabama has a good offense but ZERO defense.
Vols shut them down in Knoxville but at Tuscaloosa will be somewhat closer. Give Vols by 4-6 points.

South Carolina on Road.
Payback game for Vols on road. This one will be a defensive battle but like I stated earlier Tennessee was looking ahead to Kentucky. Don't believe it happens again
Give me Vols by 8-10 points

Kentucky at home.
Senior Day, chance to wrap up SEC regular season title. The Deacon and these Seniors aren't going let Kentucky spoil their day,plus once again Kentucky has no defense.
Give me Vols by 20

Yes I'm predicting 4-0 and SEC Regular season Championship which should guarantee a #1 Sed in NCAA tournament..
