2024 Presidential Race

Bless your heart.
I return the blessing to you and yours.
The depths to which you guys were willing to sink in order to try and disprove the fact that the majority of deems would prefer someone other than Biden is oddly curious.

I think I may know what lies at the root - how two admittedly bad candidates are viewed so differently by their respective parties sheds some uncomfortable light on one of those parties.

As was the case in the 2018 midterms, voters with and without college degrees each accounted for roughly half of the Democratic Party’s voters in 2022 (51% held college degrees while 49% did not).

By contrast, a majority of Republican voters in 2022 had no college degree (63%); a smaller share had a college degree or more (37%). This is similar to the shares of Republican voters with and without a college degree in 2018.

White voters without college degrees made up a majority (54%) of Republican voters in 2022, compared with 27% of Democratic voters. Yet the share of Republican voters who are members of this group was down 4 points compared with the 2020 presidential election.

51% of Dem voters have college degrees. Only 37 % of Republicans do.

Now, there are many ways to get an education, but by and large this supports the Bubba Factor Component (the BFC) that is attracted to Trump. Trump channels their resentments and their lack of understanding of the way the world actually works, cloaked by Trump in euphemisms and his famous "some people are saying" rhetorical device whereby he says something unsophisticated or anti-intellectual, and creates artificial distance by claiming he is merely repeating what others have said.

Are you stating you gathered the information late last night and failed to revisit it before you posted it at 10:48 EST??

I understand. But in the future you should probably double check your information. Data tends to change often. Surely you wouldn’t want to spread misinformation.
That is what I am stating and why I amended my statement to "continental US".
bama loves trump more than any other state in the continental US. I think the point remains the same.

Your obsession with college degrees is kinda strange. I have multiple degrees. I’m finishing another now. In no way, shape, form, or fashion did anything I learn in college greatly inform me on “The way the world works”. Experience is a much greater teacher in that regard.

Educational institutions in America have evolved into indoctrination centers.

I would think as a lawyer you would value your education, not worship it. But here you are.

Here's our goofy POTUS talking about the Cookie Monster getting less cookies now.
Joe's college degree is really looking like it's paying off for him here w/cookie problems.
Joe likes to focus on all the most important things that go on in the world like cookies.

Classic blunder by you in terms of inductive reasoning.

Out of 75 million people supporting Trump of course there are going to be plenty of college educated people who support him. Its the big picture trend, that the more educated the person, the less likely they are to support Trump. That is simply an undeniable fact.

That you are educated and support him does not in any way, shape, or form, undermine the fact that his overall attraction is from people who are not as well educated.

Of course people who dislike Trump are going to point that out. Personally, I think that is in part why the Trump base screens out evidence or information against Trump: they just don't want to believe it and so they ignore it. They excuse it away. They justify their willful ignorance and, most remarkably, pat themselves on the back for doing so.

Having this lady to go on TV ranting & raving like she does is embarrassing for Dems.
She needs to see the inside of a padded cell fitted w/a straight jacket for those w/TDS.

You forget over 90 percent of what you learned in college anyways after 5 years. I know I sure did...particularly after 10 years. I'm not sure why some of those that spend all that time and money completing tasks think they are somehow better.

And you are exalting formal education in ways no one ever should. Especially a college degree in America.

I just simply disagree with your definition of education. If more college degrees= The more educated someone is, or a group of people are, I reject that notion. It’s narrow minded and you believe it because it supports your worldview.

I think I am accurate.
The majority of democrats wish someone other than Biden was the nominee.
More than 48% said they were in favor of finding another candidate, which is a much higher bar than simply wishing someone other than Biden was the nominee.

It's like this....................
Do you wish the democrats were nominating someone other than Biden? The vast majority of dems - yes
Are you in favor of finding another candidate to replace Biden? More than 48% of dems - yes

I'm guessing there were two different questions asked in the two polls we referenced which explains the difference.
What exactly was the question asked that resulted in the 2 out of 5 ratio?
I couldn't open the link.
So quick question....Dean Phillips was on the ballot, Kennedy has to run independent....how other then polls were dem voters going to show they wanted someone other then biden???? There were choices and they voted for Joe overwhelmingly

What exactly do you disagree with here? That educated people are more educated than you? Getting an education teaches one how to reason and think, how to analyze and process information. Who are the people who believe all the laughably conspiracy theories that pop up constantly on the right? Answer: Uneducated people. You've apparently never listened to people at a gangster rally. They are the definition of uneducated people. Can educated people have conservative political views? Of course. It's also true that the gangster's strongest supporters are uneducated men.

Tell me you don't know a lot of Highly Educated people without telling me you don't know a lot of Highly Educated people.

We probably should just make a college degree a requirement to vote.
