Don't disagree with what you said but this is what got me!

".Barnes couldn’t even do anything remotely close with Durant and DJ Augustin" (is quoted from the post i responded to)

That is definitely trying to diminish Barnes!
People don’t do their research about that Durant team. Their top 7 players were mostly freshmen with a couple of sophomores. 4 freshmen starters. A Calipari team before Calipari did it except that I don’t believe one of the freshmen was an elite recruit. Durant was the only consensus freshman National Player of the Year, so Barnes let him play. Won 25 games. Durant was the only one that left, and they won 30+ games and got to the Elite Eight the following year. Imagine that.

Every conference gets a tourney that allows any team from it to automatically qualify for the NCAAT if they can win their league's tournament.

It keeps every single team invested right to the very end.

For teams already locked in...not a ton. But as players, I 100% guarantee they want to go win it.
Seems repetitive.

This is Lunardi's updated ranking. He still thinks Purdue is overall #1 and the current AP #1 team Houston is #3 to him.

Not only that, the way he has organized his Top 16, the West bracket with Arizona is the easiest (totals 37). The idea is to seed all 4 brackets to an equal score of 34. On paper, the Midwest bracket is the hardest (31).

This is how I would seed them:
Midwest: #3 Purdue, #7 Marquette, #12 Kansas, #13 Kentucky = 35
West: #1 Houston, #5 Arizona, #11 Creighton, #16 SDSU = 33
South: #4 Vols, #6 UNC, #10 Baylor, #14 Illinois = 34
East: #2 UConn, #8 Iowa State, #9 Duke, #15 Alabama = 34
What happened to the 'S curve', where 1 would play 8, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6, 4 vs 5, if they got that far? Do they not use that anymore?

Shows how much attention I've paid to these details in the past.

I know...so would you quit arguing about this? I've been watching 70s games with Mears, not DD coaching..and in the few games I've watched the defense was mediocre at best and a lot of bad...just because you play zone it doesn't mean you look lazy, soft, slooooow and disinterested when the other team has the ball.

Maybe they were tired in the few partial games I've seen and usually gave better effort, I don't know 🤷‍♂️ I am sure they did sometimes.
I am not arguing......will not argue.......I'm older than you.......so there.
