Final Four. I’ve seen Omaha twice. I’ve never seen a Final Four, and nobody deserves it more than Barnes.

Final 4 all day. Not even close. We are gonna see Tony V win it all soon anyway. Barnes doesn't have much time left. That dude deserves another final 4.

He and Nico were my 2 favorite recruits from their class. I hope he's half as good as I think he is,

He is, icing on the cake is he’s elite catching the ball and running routes for a “running back”. Once he get in the open field good luck with the arm tackles. 6’1 220+ with combine freak athleticism, he’s a can’t miss impact guy next season

I think so too. He's got a degree in Heupel's playbook. I'm not sure he can out talent a freshman Merk, though. I think his knowledge is what keeps him at #2. . . at least for the 1st half of the year. We have no need to RS Merk with Mac coming in, right?

Ideally you don’t want to foist too much too soon on a true freshman. That ended up an advantage with Nico’s development imo. If Merk was slated to start in 2025, redshirting would be an afterthought in priority. More towards getting him ready. That’s how I felt about Nico, but it was better (for him) that he got into only four games and kept his year in retrospect. As is, Merk can be prepped and physically developed and be a redshirt freshman top backup. Once again…health and injury contingencies. Then wind the clock with Mac next season.
