They also put a cap on signing limit back then, we could not even fill up the roster with the 25 we would sign. Thankfully common sense prevailed and the NCAA no longer has powerDooley: “the qb doesn’t need protecting, he needs to get rid of the ball quicker… rb’s don’t need holes to run through they should just run away from the other guys…”
So are you a dirt lawyerOn the injunction:
I think first and foremost the biggest thing it means is that the NCAA cannot punish TN with recruiting restrictions or suspend Nico until after the lawsuit is fully wrapped up (if the NCAA wins, and they won't). That's big news.
People saying that this totally blows up the recruiting space and starts pay-for-play - I think they're wrong. All this means is that the NCAA cannot enforce any punishments to schools and athletes that have violated the rules for the time being. As I understand it, should the NCAA win the case they could reinforce their rules and start punishments again. So, teams that say "there's no rules anymore!" and start breaking the old rules willy-nilly are essentially gambling with what they think the final result will be.
But still - we wouldn't be at this point, and everyone would still be minding these rules, if the NCAA hadn't decided to arbitrarily enforce their rules AND illegally punish athletes and schools for doing things that were LEGAL when they were done, just because they changed the rules later.
Have you looked into Radiofruency ablation for the hip articular branch nerves? Can give you relief from the arthritis pain until you are ready for the joint replacement. Covered by insurance.Yeah, these arthritic hips aren't outrunning any terminators. Gotta be smart or be dead.
Bernard King was deadly from 15 ft and in.I've watched a few of those games..and it just looked to me from what I've seen in those games...the defense wasn't very good.
From what I've seen in those few vids...nearly all of BKs shots were layups or shots within 10ft...at Tennessee...it was amazing how he scored so much down low despite only being 6'7".
I haven't gotten around to watching much of his time with the Knicks. I actually remember watching a few NBA games with him in it back then, but I was too young to really think much about styles and stuff like that.
Just from what I've been able to see, he wasn't really a driver or a shooter...by shooter I mean perimeter shooter...he was lethal down low.
It doesn’t matter. And don’t let anyone tell you it does. I also have sex daily, and I’m doing just fine.Because I'm slightly dyslexic...and I had already submitted everything when I realized it...so I just left it alone.
I don't see why it matters...there are literally 5 different ways of spelling my real name.
For the dedicated gamblers, the Horizon League Conference tournament starts tonight.
Put your money on DETRIOT Mercy to win the tournament..
They were content to guard a space more than a man and really the main thing was to keep everybody outside. DeVoe as were most coaches back then were all about percentage shots. Of course teams had the guy's that could shoot from outside but the majority wanted to get the easy shot, press after a made free throw or otherwise set up and guard your spot. Funny how things have really changed as far as press, man to man and zone.Just talking about visible effort...I know what it was back then...I'm nearly 56.
The effort on defense seemed to be a little lacking from what I've seen...but like I said..it SEEMED to be lacking from what few games I've been able to dig up.
