That is just dumb. As you can see from the headaches the Houthi's are causing, Russia is far from the only Country having a hard time figuring out how to protect their vessels from drones.

As for air force, Russia is doing fine there. They continue to ramp up glide bombs usage with great success. They continue to hold air superiority over Ukraine.

The meat wave narrative is false. The reason Russia is having success on the battlefield and continues to slowly gain territory is because they are the superior fighting force and correctly executing combined arm attacks vs the largely untrained Ukraine forces which are being slaughtered at ridiculously high numbers.

Not to mention that the reason that the Russians have been moving "slowly" and helping to feed the false narrative that it is a "stalemate" is because they are trying to protect their own men and would rather let the Ukrainians worry about winning territory and run these offensives, while they annihilate the Kyiv regime forces running into their long range artillery and FPV nuisances.

These people will learn (if they don't know by now) that Russia is not concerned about winning territory and PR victories. They're about "demilitarization". Take men and machines off the battlefields and the territory will come later. NATO and Kyiv have all of the clocks, but Russia has all of the time.

Add to that, at any moment the West could decide to join this war with boots on the ground. Russia has to be very careful not to over extend itself.

North Korea is making Russian weapons. Iran is supplying drones and missiles. Russia is relying on T-62s for armored maneuvers. Russia is sending prisoners and political enemies to war.

Russia has already over extended itself.
