With 5-6 mins left, Mashack hits a 3, then gets a steal, ZZ assists to Aidoo on and and-1. ZZ immediately jumped in the pack and told everyone to calm the hell down. Imo he was reminding them there's a LONG ways to go and we needed to lock the hell in.

Job done. Great leadership by ZZ.

I don't think that's the measuring stick-- though some would be happy with that for MBB, as well. The LVs have been down for a while, and many people have contributed to that. It won't be an insta-fix like some think. But it's going to have to be fixed.

I think the problem is her assistant coach if I’m being honest. I feel like either her assistant coach is keeping her from her potential -or- maybe the assistant should be head coach.

I have zero doubt 1, if not multiple, tourney teams will attempt this strategy of doubling DK consistently.

I also have zero doubt Barnes has been preparing for this for some time. As we saw tonight, it's no better for the opposing team. It's just the gamble they wish to take.

I think we'll be prepared regardless. Other guys just have to be ready...but I also foresee a further counterstrat, including quick picks high up top by Aidoo...Awaka...maybe others.

Beating the double-team before it even happens is the next step in the Meta.

i agree with all this but that wasn’t the point…. It’s kind of like the football team…. the more you see us then more prepared that you will be for us… We have an advantage with teams that have never had to deal with DK before.

I like that certain places we play now are taking that football passion to basketball. Makes winning on the road even better

It’s really nice being the most hated team in the sec in all three major men’s sports and it’s really carrying out to across the country. Nobody just likes us, they either love us or hate us and I like that
