Look at South Carolina and Iowa arena, though. They are packed to the rafters. You think if Lady VOLS were competitive with SC that the VOLS fans wouldn't do the same? Just got to find the right coach.

But what does that do to bring in the NIL money needed to get it started? Yeah, the fans would go watch if they’re good, but to get good you have to have the coach and the NIL money to pay the players to come…and to get THE coach you have to have the NIL to convince them you can pay the players before they will come.

What? You really think South Carolina’s NIL/collective for women’s basketball is any better than Tennessee’s? The reason we and 95% of other universities are not on their level is simple and it has nothing to do with money and everything to do with their coach

I understand they are separate things. Few people will be willing to make NIL donations to the LVs program in its current state. Admin will have to show a commitment to excellence before donations start rolling in. No one is excited about the program right now. Why would UT expect donations without a commitment from them to be better?

They know this. They’re putting football first. Yay!

I've seen ZZ pester way better PGs than KC into fits...people forget that basketball is played on both ends of the floor.

They also think just because someone looks more "athletic and fluid" means they are a better basketball player...and that is wrong.

Also...heart and grit counts for a lot in a PG...and ZZ has that in spades.

Is NOONE I'd rather have! Stories like his are the reason I am obsessed with college sports! Vol great!

I won't even remember the one and done freshmen in a few years.
