Boom. Win for good guys

Your only B in college?

Must've irritated you terribly.
Especially considering 95% of the course was a term paper on an epic poem of one’s choosing (I took The Ryme of the Ancient Mariner) on which was marked “A+, an excellent piece of work in every respect” yet there was my downfall taking the on-campus final exam where I choked on analyzing some obscure damm verse.

I dont mean to laff at your irritant but do you still have intrusive thoughts or bad dreams about it?

Always been my favorite jet. Grew up with USAF lithographs of F15s on my walls. Built and painted the model too. Such an amazing aircraft. The new EX versions are even better and much cheaper than the F35s and F22s. Of course they arent invisible on radar like the 22s, and can't "QB" the battlespace like an F35...but they can carry far more missiles and bombs than either, and outrun/outclimb anything in the skies. Unlike the newest version of the F18s, they aren't handicapped by piss poor range either. Just an all around incredible airframe.

Don't forget about the "Boeing special markup" for the government...

The F-15X will cost almost $100 million a pop.

Years ago Hasbro used to make "Flying Fighters" snap together aircraft models that attached to a handle - it had batteries and a trigger to pull to make noise. When they did the F-15, they chose the 94th Fighter Squadron. That's Eddie Rickenbacker's WW1 squadron with the hat in the ring logo and the "FF" tail code. My brother was a pilot in the squadron at the time and was in the squadron photo included in the box and in a smaller picture picture on the box itself. Those models were a big thing for the kids in the extended family that year, and I used to laugh that it wasn't often you could walk into a toy store and find your brother in a picture on a box.

My dad's last squadron was the 75th Fighter Interceptor Squadron flying F-101Bs at Dow AFB, Bangor, ME. The 74th, 75th, and 76th were the original Flying Tiger Squadrons, so the 75th had the tigershark logo shooting missiles. Not sure what will happen to that trio of squadrons now because they currently fly the A-10 with the sharks mouth and the "FT" tail code (Moody AFB, GA). Most tail codes seem to stem from a base or state name, but ones like "FF" (first fighter derivative), "FT" (Flying Tiger), and "ZZ" (Kadena, Okinawa) are historical in nature ... all as much a part of history as "Volunteer".

Love watching our BasketVols beat aTms azz in TBA!! Up by 20 with 8mins left. Knecht and Aidoo leading the team...IMO THAT is the key pair that will determine whether we win or lose vs the really good teams. When those 2 are playing off eachother and the others support we are at our best. They try to double Knecht and always help on D and he looks for the pass to Aidoo inside. Tobe Awaka can play a big role in the SEC and MM tournaments as well with his rebounding and tough defense inside.

Damn!!! Knecht just threw a beautiful SC highlight reel pass to Jonas for the dunk in transition!!! TO ATM LFGO!!!

Update unless yall missed it...we blew them out by 35 points and averaged a dunk per minute in the last 6 mins as our lead went from 20 to 35 points. Knecht nailed a 3 and then nailed a step-back 3 and Jonas had 18 points 14rb and 3 blocks . Owaka and Carr had the last 2 dunks to seal it wow man.

We have 4 more games and all 4 teams are ranked top 25. At SC and at Bama especially will be tough. Kentucky at home is the last game.
