If DK wins SEC player of the year, that should speak volumes to recruits and transfers about Barnes coaching. DK was pretty much an unknown until he came to the SEC. I believe DK was 2nd team all conference at his past school.

Incredible fundamentals. Loved his use of the back board. He was a 00s player transported from the 1950s.

My all time favorite player.

Did it with class, unselfishness towards his teammates, and loyalty to his franchise.

He also stayed 4-years in college which undermined his NBA stats and didn't play basketball until he was a junior in high school (was a swimmer prior).

Honestly based on the players I have been able to see during their careers, Tim Duncan is in my top 5. He may be my favorite big ever.

Don’t know that I’d put him ahead of Kobe or MJ or even Lebron…but to build a franchise around it would be difficult to pick anyone else ahead of Tim.
