Get the car towed to a shop. Have had it less then six months. So the repair guy tells me knocked off left rear underbody shield Significant wire damage. I ask what his estimate is. He says $800-$12,000. Hell of a range

Joey asked exactly what I was wondering. Over here in NC, the interstates in Charlotte are littered with retreads from 18wheeler tires. Those damn things should be illegal IMO. I have to dodge them all the time ..but not long ago i was in the middle lane and had nowhere to go so I ran over one of them. It tore the liner out of my front wheelwell onto I85. I had to get over to the right lane and then shoulder and run back there in traffic with people cruising at 70-80mph to retrieve it. I was super pissed...and the liner is damaged. I put it back on but its got a big gash in it. You cant see it unless you were changing my tire thankfully.

Its not as brutal as what Flarduh got this year but its a lot harder than in most years. They better be on their A game every week or theyre gonna lose some games. They have other tough games also. I just listed the 4 hardest IMO...and those are not in any particular order.

I have seen predictions for Flarduh from some folks at 2-10. They might pull off 4 or 5 wins with some luck and people overlooking them...but theres no way they get bowl eligible. Sadly this will get Coach Numbnutz fired. Really hope Kiffin doesnt take that job....

I really think they kept Napier just because they knew the results of next season were going to require a sacrificial lamb. unless they were able to get Saban out of retirement no coach is going to look good against their schedule.

I am glad we get them at home next year. moves it from a loss at Gainesville to a toss up in Neyland.

Yep. Those lizards still have plenty of talent on their roster and a solid defense, solid QB for next season....but we play them late in the year instead of the 3rd or 4th preseason game which we usually got stuck with. By that time, Nico should be full stride and our offense a well oiled machine. While I agree that it will probably be a tossup due to history vs those scoundrels ... a big part of me wants and believes we can light them UP next season like the duck/truck Tabor/toast game where we scored a couple early and then we were cruising...time to send them a message that under Coach Hype those delinquents will NOT be the thorn in our side. Instead it will be us having gator tail for dinner year in and year out . GO VOLS

maybe playing them later in the season will be enough to help. over those last decades they have largely started hot and faded down the stretch. not that we have really faired much better (butch losing to SC & Vandy when we had a NY6 bowl game on the hook), but it would be nice to face a down florida instead of them at their relative best.

Yeah my son already graduated from there. Working on his masters online. We are cool with my daughter not living in coed dorms and spending a couple years majoring in Beer drinking with a minor in Bong management lol. Thankfully its where she wants to go, not where we are making her . She is doing dual enrollment right now with HS/ undergrad so will only be on campus for 2 years. Its really nice up there honestly, and much bigger than i thought it would be. Pretty big school. My son came back in good shape....hoping and praying she does too.

I need to go back and look around at Lynchburg one of these days. Lived there for almost four years after graduating from UT - worked for Babcock and Wilcox on Old Forest Rd and lived just out of town near Forest. Nice place, but the natives had that VA accent and could be a little snooty if you didn't. Can't tell you how nice a 5-10 minute commute and being able to run home for lunch was - especially when we lived in a quiet area that would struggle to even be called suburban.

So I filed our taxes over the weekend but I kept having a nagging feeling something wasn’t right the 1099-R amount looked too low. Sure enough digging thru all the docs I found an ADDITIONAL 1099-R from the moron trustees that administer my pension and savings funds. Adding the two amounts totals to what I expected. I had this epiphany at 6:30 this morning. I’ve already filed an amended return and had it accepted and paid the delta tax. But with my luck I’ll bet this triggers a damn audit

1st thing Trump needs to do after the obvious stuff pertaining to the border, pipeline etc is fire all those 5000 new IRS agents that Biden hired to roll US citizens over the coals. He doesnt have to worry about reelection....and anyone who took those jobs knew they were joining up with the Nazi SS when they took the jobs. The last thing we need is 100 more agents per state harrassing the HALF of this country that actually does pay taxes. Bastards.
