Its not even that, when the chips are down, give me the team that can throw the ball. Purdy can play within a system, but hes not putting a drive together like Patrick did.McCaffrey fumble early and the missed XP were killers. The soft zone on a couple of drives down the stretch didn't help either.
I mean, he got a team into a SB that nearly went to double OT. That's quite a statement to say he's good enough to do that, but not good enough to win that game. It happens. An assortment of things cost them the game that he had basically nothing to do with. JJ got open on their 3rd down play in OT. It was right there. Chris Jones (or one of their other DLs) was right in his face and forced the throwaway.
