This offense isnt good, and that's a Barnes thing. Recruiting has been good, not great. Lack of a big time PF hurts.

The offense is fine. You will have some off nights. But we let them shoot 8 three’s in the first half. Once they got going, we couldn’t catch up.

Awaka is better than him and a couple of years younger too, I honestly do not see the benefit of starting Aidoo over Awaka. But we were charmin soft in the paint all last night.

Honestly, Zeigler was the only one with any fight in him last night. Knecht stepped it up at the end, but other than ZZ and Knecht it felt like the team just didnt care

Awaka is limited offensively. But if Aidoo isn’t playing well on offense, then Awaka is probably the better contributor. Aidoo has had some dominant games.

We’ve scored 80+ points in 6 SEC games. That wins conference games. We are 13th nationally in offensive efficiency. Everyone wanted better offense even if it hurt the defense a little. We got it. It’s basketball.

I see some of you are once again overreacting to a road loss in the SEC. You have to have an A+ game every time out to win on the road and that is just pretty much impossible in this league. It’s a road game in February, WE ARE FINE.

It’s funny that people are throwing around Charmin soft when we were called bullies in the NCAAT last year. So much so, that it became a public conversation, and the FAU game was clearly called with that in mind. I get we have some different contributors this year, but it’s a long season, and there are ups and downs. Guys will peak and valley. Just keep grinding and get top 4 in the conference, and let’s see how March plays out.

Awaka hasn't been able to play more than a few minutes without fouling though. Puts himself in trouble and quickly runs up the team total so they get free throws, they can't trust him

Not soft but lacking interior physicality.

The Deacon would agree this team should never give up 9 offensive rebounds to one guy and get out rebounded by 8 for the game.

The games this team was bullied as you say Tennessee lost.

we wont do sh-it in the tournament if we sit our best player for 7+ minutes at a time, go on 4-5 minute scoring droughts and have 3 of our guys miss a rebound to 1 opponet

Going 5 minutes without a bucket, sitting our best player when the game started getting out of hand (ik he was in foul trouble but he is our best 3pt shooter and could have gotten us going offensively again)

I swear people that say stuff like that hasn't watched enough basketball. You can lose to anybody in hoops if lid is on basket. Like Barnes said the team that won it last year lost 5 in row in February.

Laziest of all lazy takes.

People love saying this after every loss in any sport. “The team didn’t care”, “they didn’t try”.

They care. They tried. They just got their asses beat. That happens in sports.

We beat Vandy by double digits on road. Gamecocks are a top 15 team about to be top 10 that might win SEC. A&M just had good buckets and we didn't. No theme......just college basketball
