Up and down offensively all year, every year. Many said this was a super important stretch for this team, **** the bed against Carolina and now Tamu.

#6 team in the Country plays better than this.

Well, we probably won’t be six next week, so there’s that.

And yeah, we get better from week-to-week, and sometimes worse from week-to-week. That’s pretty common across the nation, even in more stable years than this.

I mean I think it's more important than most fans give it credit for being but I also feel like we've done enough under Barnes' tenure on that front. The one criticism that still sticks and stings is the tourney criticism. Early exits.

This team has already shown it has the ability to overcome scoring droughts and even a bad half, we most definitely can win 4 in a row in March to make a deep run. Past Tennessee teams haven't had that except for the Grant and Admiral teams. Long season, this game and the uscjr game are not the norm if you ask me.
