Yes. That guy is the kind of player I hate. His entire game is him being bigger than everyone. He's allowed to shove and hook defenders who then get called for fouling him. Most of his points are from free throws. He will get eaten alive in the NBA but he's a king in college.

He would have been a decent nba player in the 80’s and 90’s…. he can’t guard the perimeter well enough to be good in the nba of today…. will make millions though if he decides to go to some of the overseas leagues though.

Commentator the other day said if they weren't so embarrassed to call a foul on nearly every play, they'd have to when it comes to the guys guarding him.

Sounds like a Bill Russell situation. Guys are just hacking him constantly. And yet nothing they can do to stop him.

You can never really stop 3s. That is the truth. If a team is hot on them. Not much you can do to defend it.

Teams get hot but you can definitely defend the 3.

It’s a terrible rule and has to be changed. A&M automatically gets the ball after the whistle and then the 2 taken away. Makes no sense.

Probably. That was the era of the space eater big man. But IDK who overseas would pay that much for him. Euro ball is getting less and less Euro but overseas shooty hoops has expanded way past just going to Europe. Maybe one of the other leagues but someone will def. take him and he will have a good career there.

On a goaltend call, the ref blows the whistle, play stops, two points are awarded, and the other team inbounds.

If they review that and find “no goaltending,” why are the refs assuming that, after the block, the play just would have resulted in no points for the offensive team?

It shouldn’t be reviewable, for that reason.

He's not the one being fouled though. He's hooking guys and then those guys are getting called for fouls but they're hooked. Otherwise yeah some are going hard on him all the time but much of his fouls are bc he's going out of his way to make it happen.

It and when the shot clock expires and the defending team rebounds the ball and they stop play.
2 of the worst rules in basketball.
