The fact that we are able to do that and still play with as much energy and aggression as we do on defense is a testament to our conditioning. That combined with our depth to me means the only way we lose a game in march is by having the notorious shooting slump. Hopefully DKs dependability can keep us from repeating that phenomenon.

We didn't know it, but I think Heupel was the perfect coach for us, all things considered at the time. I wouldn't trade him for any coach, college or pro. I dont think any other coach could do what he's done here so far. I think we're in the playoffs this year and holding the title belt in '25.

Educators are underpaid we all know this but Law Enforcement Officers are just as underpaid as well.

I just don't see why counties and cities believe paying officers $ 30,000 Is enough to risk their lives.

Plus 30,000 I'm stating is highballing the pay rate, some make less!!!

There’s an affluent county near me that pays cops 70-80k starting out (or so the sign says). Probably not the norm salary but Milton, GA is where all the rich people live.

Parts of Maryville are bad. A couple of parts in Alcoa are rough too.

I think the guy was from alcoa. They found his car a few miles from the shooting. Reports say he was injured too.

It happened at 8.30p last night. He could be anywhere by now. I think he's dead in a ditch, stupid enough to go home, or headed to mexico.

Also said he is a previous felon with a firearm. Probably why he started shooting in the first place (felon w/firearm is an auto 5yrs in fed prison I think.)

They ordered him out of the vehicle, he refused. They tased him to no effect and he pulled a gun and opened fire, killing one officer and injury the other with non life-threatening injuries.

From what I can tell, they found this car a few miles away from the incident.

Looks like I went to school with the shooter. I don’t have any specific memories though.

The other more stupid part is how underfunded their classrooms are.
I know several who have gone into teaching and the money they spend to prepare their rooms is pretty wild.
