She was super special to get an orange coat as a female. Cats have a ton of color combos and coat possibilities.

I have been blessed with some wonderful fur babies. I have had 3 (actually 4 as I count the one that used to come and visit me as mine - she would've been had I had my own place) that were just super-duper special. Two of them were a male and female Ruddy Abyssinians (an orangish-red color). The other two were a black and white male and black white + orange female.

If I had to pick one though it would've been my girl Aby. Though I feel bad saying that because the other 3 were special too. I miss having kitties.
I have a kitty named Abby..she is a fluffy tuxedo cat with huge bright yellow crazy eyes...lol.

I learned something about orange kitties the other day.... Apparently, they're almost always males. Orange is sex linked in cats so when you see one there's a 75 percent chance it's a Tom Cat.
It has to do with how cats fur color is tied to genetics. Black and grey are dominant. However orange is dominant as well with a different allele. Since males only have one X chromosome they have a higher chance of showing the orange due color even though black and grey are "more" dominant. Same with calico and tortoise shell fur colors. They're female cats with all 3 types of alleles so they show all 3 at the same time because they'll have all 3 on both X chromosomes

Idk about the harder stuff, but for sure agree on the lsd part. Only tried twice, but I have great memory of what happened, almost like I can rewind my way through those specific hours in great detail.

And I have terrible memory otherwise.
It's weird how it does that to most people I know.

Nerd!..

Not sure if I completely buy into the "spiritual side of psychedelics" but there's zero doubt it unlocks something very special in our brains.

Maybe that's what some call spiritual...and I can understand that.
I've always kinda wanted to try but I'm too afraid of a bad trip that leaves me completely and irreparably scarred, so I stay away.

I woke up at 3am to this the other day. I thought it was a sleep paralysis demon, but no just my cat standing on my entertainment center with an oddly poignant screensaver on my tv as a background
Should post pic AFTER explanation.

Literally thought you had woken up in a cave where cats kill humans and hoarde what appears to be their trash.

If you have even an inkling of past psychological issues, and I mean that with zero stigma, or even a host of terrible memories or negative psychological associations...

Then that's a smart move 100%.

If you're lucky enough to not have picked up any such gremlins in your life, then it's pretty simple as long as you're smart. Research. Take a low dose...then evaluate carefully if another (even smaller) dose is fine...then settle in...the "all at once method" is what gets folks into trouble.

Have a "babysitter" if you're going to be out and about. If at home alone, maybe have a babysitter on speed dial just in case. But most importantly - enter with a great mindset, on a sun-soaked day full of positive momentum...and you'll love it. Enter it on a bad day, dark and gloomy outside, just don't. Honestly your mindset and surroundings is 90% of it.
