Speaking of that.... I've got a question for you.

I believe in the past you had mentioned you used a work spectrum cable password for home. My parent have cable, but I've switched to streaming. I've tried logging into their account, but it blacks out certain channels including bally sports. Does this happen to you? And if so have you found a workaround?

I’ve had that same thing happen on certain devices. My first step would be to go to their house and pull up a live Ballys stream on your phone just to prove that you’re logging in and choosing the provider correctly. It definitely works. Just make sure that when you’re logged in you get to the Choose Provider screen and enter their cable company and credentials.

What are you using to stream? I’ve gotten it to work on both Fire and Roku.

I use YouTube TV... I'm talking about by using their spectrum app. I'm just trying to login on my phone.

However, Spectrum had sent me a couple decent offers, so I'm actually going to go today and see what it would cost me to switch back to cable.

Ahhh… now I see. You’ve got to get away from the Spectrum app. Download the Ballysports app and watch it from there.

Thanks. That will be the next option.

I'm going to spectrum today to see if they have their heads in the right place. I haven't had cable in a few months, so I'm hoping I can snag one of those new customer bundles and get that deal.
If they want me to wait a month I'm prepared to drop internet, since I do most things on my phone anyways.

I’ve had cable forever. I am on the ‘new customer price’ all the time. Promo runs out, my bill goes up one month, I call them, I request the retention department, eventually make it to the person who magically finds the same discount code I’ve always had.

Takes about 15 min every 24 months but I pay way less for way more than the streamers.

Yeah I'm trying to get back on that plan.
I had both, dropped cable and tried streaming, I hate it.

Have you ever had to go in store though or just call? I at least have to go in store to get my box back.

So, spectrum is basically recommending streaming, but the dude was awesome. Got me spectrums TV lineup but I'm paying less than youtube tv and internet so that's good.

If I understood correctly, their service comes with bally sports app.
