What # do you have Aaron at all time?
Top 10.

My post from yesterday was not a statement that Hank is the GOAT...I don't think he is, although he's my favorite from those era's, along with Mantle; all I am saying is, he's not talked about like he should be whenever discussing the greatest player of all time.

To argue against Willie Mays is foolish, just like arguing against Ruth or Gerhrig or Williams or Mickey or Joe D or Clemente or Hank or Bonds, along with a couple of others (they ALL can make an iron clad argument for the greatest, imo). Im not saying Willie is the GOAT neither, but his argument is as good as anyone's, same with Aaron. If someone held a gun to my head and said choose, I'd probably choose Ruth as the GOAT...but, even then, I'm not so sure I'm 100% confident in that choice.

Also, you said "probably Top 20" about Hank??...that's crazy, imo; and, here I was respecting your knowledge of the game. šŸ˜

Another thing...I agree totally that Williams is the greatest hitter of all time, no question; however, Tony Gwynn can't be just ignored and brushed off in a discussion about such. Yes, Williams it is, but Gwynn is right there, right behind him.

All in my humble opinion.

I find myself staying between the 80’s and 90’s music list…the grunge era was iconic in the 90’s Alice in chains will forever be my savior…if anyone mentions Nirvana over Alice In Chains..they get a free for life ban hammer no questions asked šŸ˜šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
Why can't we just love them all?...Pearl Jam was my slight favorite, but I loved all of those bands.

For those that only know Chris Stapleton when he got big go listen to the Steeldrivers. That's some music you can dig some coal to. All you tradition lovers and throwback heros.

Thats not even Chris Stapleton with the Steeldrivers in that video.

if I had to rank them…

1. Stone Temple Pilots
2. Alice in Chains
3. Pearl Jam
4. Soundgarden
5. Nirvana
6. Mother Love Bone (basically a hair band but really are the fathers of grunge, it’s just Pearl Jam with a different singer)

@butchna thoughts on the Potential of Washington and Chicago switching draft position?

Trade down one spot, draft MHJ, plus get 2 first round draft picks in future?
Depends on how bad they NEED one player with local ties and how much they’d give up PENDING Poles, Cunningham’s, Waldron’s and (to a lesser extent) Flus’s interviews with Williams and or other prospects as well as Fields. People forget that Poles was a significant part of the Chiefs decision to trade up for that system QB from Texas Tech. As far as MHJ? Damn good player! But if the powers that be don’t evaluate Fields as the answer at QB? They’re not going to throw a talent on the field with no consistent vehicle to distribute the ball to him and Moore imo. They haven’t interviewed or worked out a single player yet and they didn’t decide on Darnell Wright last draft until the now infamous workout shortly before. If they decide Fields is worth it, I could see several tradedowns that may or may not include Washington. Kingsbury is no factor. If they interview Caleb and he is THE guy? They’re taking him imo and try to get that vital second rounder by trading Fields. If neither is as impressive to them (or it’s real close) I could see them trading down one and taking Maye. Lot needs to happen before anything imo.

You know the debate šŸ™„ I was just speaking in general šŸ˜‚ wasn’t the pear jam singer a drummer for one of these bands or am I thinking of someone else
Dave Grohl for Nirvana now Foo Fighters. Eddie Vedder played a drummer for fictional band Citizen Dick fronted by Matt Dillon’s ā€œCliffā€ on the 90s movie Singles.

STP were fantastic.

The ā€œoutrageā€ to the story is just triggered virtue signaling.

You shouldn’t care! About a locker-room love triangle? Are you effing kidding me? Of course it’s a story lol.

3 people on one team hooking up, causing the leading scorer to quit.

But some think it should be a ā€œnon-storyā€ because of their orientation? Lmao, sure…
Anything that causes a basketball team to lose it’s cohesiveness is bad for the team and affects the play of said team. It doesn’t matter if it’s 2 teammates having a thing for another teammate or 2 teammates having a thing for someone not on the team. Players will take sides and instead of pulling together (which is critical for a basketball team) these players are pulling away from each other.

Y'all keep living only in the past and you'll blow right by some excellent music. No doubt you have to look a little harder, but there are some amazing musicians out there. Your loss though.
Chris Stapleton is amazing...I listen to him all the time...but what we miss is the old pure country sound...if you don't understand the difference, there is no point in arguing it with you.

Bro listen to the 80's country music.

A female I dated back in the 80's loved Conway Twitty, he done a concert in Knoxville with Vern Gosdin. So I took her for her birthday.

Every female melted when Conway said "Hello Darling"

Lastly oh Knox got rewarded for that birthday gift..🧐🧐
What do you mean by "rewarded". I don't quite follow 😁
