Man, id love that.

My grandmother used to have a large MCM Cassette, radio, 8 track player. I remember coming over and she'd have AM radio playing in background. Country and gospel, always.

Always give my aunt crap for getting rid of it. Imagine retrofitting that bad boy with blue tooth enabled tech, new LP player.👍🏻 Keep the dream going.

Still have my own Christmas tree still up in my office, with the old colored bulbs. Christmas in the Country.

Country music. Real bonafide Country & Western music was recorded on grainy analog equipment. Ambient noise in background. Better with steel guitar sliding.

Cigarette smoke and orange/green ashtray's helped the atmosphere. Live, big band sound helped round out that song.

As time went on, song remained the same. So many giants. Too many to name.

The ballad. Tells a story of their lives.

RIP Toby.

Keith Whitley was going to rule country music.

Too great attributes he had a great voice and Lori Morgan

Waylon imitating WIllie at the beginning of this song by closing one nostril with his finger is the single coolest/funniest thing I've seen in a very long time. Man, they just don't make'm like Waylon any more. Thanks for posting!!!!
No they do not.

And i'm glad you picked up on that.

Waylon is my absolute fave C&W singer.

Not even my style of music, but bro this is a lazy take IMO.

Bro listen to the 80's country music.

A female I dated back in the 80's loved Conway Twitty, he done a concert in Knoxville with Vern Gosdin. So I took her for her birthday.

Every female melted when Conway said "Hello Darling"

Lastly oh Knox got rewarded for that birthday gift..🧐🧐

Y'all keep living only in the past and you'll blow right by some excellent music. No doubt you have to look at little harder, but there are some amazing musicians out there. Your loss though.

I say the same thing…but the search starts with anything not played on the radio. Look into individual artists and you’ll be amazed at what you may find..so nice comment buddy..a lot of people don’t realize this

O lord y'all are like my neighbor having Alexa play the same Conway Twitty tunes over and over. Variety is the spice of life. Enjoy your meatloaf.

How the heck is the same thread that introduced Sally stuck in 1980's country music? Such is the weird tale of Vol Twitter.
