Hank had more HR, hits, RBIs and a higher career batting average
And? Aaron was a machine (to his credit) and played better than Mays on the backend of their careers.

Mays also missed multiple seasons at the beginning of his career due to exclusion and Korea.

Willie Mays was a 40-40 player, hitting .325, and playing double-plus CF. It doesn’t get any better than that for a position player.

They need to bring back the McDonaldland characters. Except for Birdie the Early Bird. I never really liked her. But Grimace ad Hamburglar were awesome. Officer Big Mac, Mayor McCheese, the Fry Guys... They were cool, too. Never really got Captain Crook, but he's better than Birdie.

Let's say Cal leaves. Who does KY go get? Is the job as desirable as it once was?
Some crybabies on Rupp Rafters -- but I repeat myself -- have talked about buying at any price that guy at Bama who used Bama's corrupt booster, police, and DA network to exonerate the guy who was an accessory to murder. That was a fun defense. "He passed the gun inside a hat, so he never actually touched the gun." I think his name is Oatmeal or Cornflakes. I can't remember.

Who's Certainly? Never heard of him.
I meant the job is attractive. You have to think they'll try to swing for the fences. Hard to argue what a guy like Lamont Paris or Beard are doing in the SEC, but they could target a Pearl.

One of the announcers I watched said he would not let Oats watch his kids, but he'd let him coach his team. Wow

Just call her "Sweet." Pass it on.
We were just discussing the nickname actually! I told her I was thinking of Sunshine. Called my daughter Angel and Princess. Then my first granddaughter Angel and the second Princess. Now a third one! I remembered I used to sing “You Are My Sunshine” to her all the time. Then she tells me she just picked out “You Are My Sunshine” nursery decor because every time she sings it to her son he says….You’re going to have two sunshine’s now! 😭😭😭 I will slip in a few Sweets every now and then though!

Edit…Still no progress on the actual name though. Maybe Meadow, Violet, Willow, etc. since we’re doing a wildflower theme shower and a sunshine room!

And? Those are pretty important stats.

I don't think Mays had a 40/40 year. He probably came close multiple times. Wasn't Canseco the first to do it? Mays was great
In the field. Maybe the best ever

I'll admit Mays had some great seasons that Hank never matched, but I'd still say Hank had the better overall career.

These two are definitely #1 and #2 during that time.

We went straight family names.

Meant something special, and was unique. Also ensured no one else had those names.

Prayers for a happy healthy baby!
🧡🧡🧡 Thank you! They are thinking of using his grandma’s name for a middle name since they just lost her and loved her dearly.

Mays was playing 152 game seasons when he averaged 40 & 35, but no he never did it combined in one season.

Depends on what your definition of “greatest” is - at least from an offensive standpoint. If you believe career numbers define it, then you probably think Emmitt Smith was better than Barry Sanders.

Mantle was the best player of the 1950’s
Mays was the best player of the 1960’s

But Aaron certainly had a longer, more productive career than either.

Caranx hippos, black-tailed trevally, and yellow cavalli. The school is still talking about it.
1- Bluefin tuna

2- Giant trevally

3- Tarpon
