He was addressing the legalese more than anything. It’s not about what’s right but what you can prove. Can Tennessee prove it’s being wronged? I’m no lawyer and not interested in lawyerings but I do know how fickle the courts can be over the smallest thing which is what makes me nervous.

Yep, you are right... But at this point, when we are seeing video of Dabo flying 2-3 recruits on a private jet and plenty of folks/players coming out with specifics on programs contacting them before they went into the portal (bama, Iowa, others), trying to entice them into the portal with $$ figures, etc, then if they are picking on us, and this is on such a national spotlight level, then they better be called out and made to explain why they aren't handing out the same punishment for those programs and investigate them as well...

You guys are on the right track.

Marcos is well connected, well respected (cant believe im defending this guy) businessman. He has thrown out a number as a cautionary tale that this isnt a slam dunk. Perhaps he shouldnt have given over/under. And prefaced it by saying 'im just a PI lawyer'. But its a small fraternity.

Guarantee he has extensive experience in Greeneville TN. And knows the Court's tendencies. And knows the appellate process, and their tendencies.

He is extremely smart and seasoned attorney. Id say he is a better authority that any of us morans.

I resemble that. On a more serious note, I have known, professionally only, the Judge presiding over this case for 25 years, and he is a very smart, well educated, level headed, fair, non-activist, Judge. He had several years service as a federal magistrate before being appointed to full district judge status in 2018. We will get a fair shake, as I have previously stated, which is all we deserve.

Will love when it gets to the point to where when I jump on the main Vols recruiting page and quickly scroll down all the players we are looking at and the majority don't have 3* by their names, they have 4-5*... not sure if that will ever happen, but a star gazer can dream ... And in before folks jump in and make excuse as to why they are 3* and they'll get a bump after their senior season, etc... We are needing CB/DB's, LB's, DT's, OL, and a few WR's and I'm not seeing a lot of elite talent yet...A few here and there... still very early though, so things can change, and there is certainly some really good talent on the board right now...
Hopefully MacIntyre is able to pull several of those elite guys that seem to be interested in following him here... Especially the OL and WR...

The coaches are on the case for you big guy, so take a deep breath. I even did this thing and actually looked up the results and it's already there pal based on the recruits since Heupel and his staff arrived.

I mean what if a kid can receive NIL however, it is limited at a certain amount and the other half of whatever is over the allotted amount is placed into a savings account of some sort that can accrue interest over time. This allows everything to stay even for kids (sort of), also gives them a reason to stay with a NIL collective/program.

Not being an ass. That's sort of what you need to be when you're a judge. Further its good to hear his inpartiality, for all sides. It should be about the Law being applied justly. Not about political aspirations or affiliation.

Marcos Garza on Basilio talking about the NCAA case. He says it’s more like 55/45 in Tennessee’s favor and not a slam dunk. I do not like that.

He did say that if we’re granted the TRO it’s a good sign for us overall.

He also said it is not a good idea to have fans gather at the courthouse and if they do, they may find themselves in the backseat of a cruiser very easily.
