They can't. They don't even have the personnel to wade through the many boxes of legal docs they're going to get. They asked for it; they're getting it.
If they tried to enforce a post-season ban, as well as AGTN taking them to court, I'd like to see every UT player file suit against them.

So it seems that from a practical standpoint there are only a few plays that they'll be able to make here, and all will ultimately involve some sort of capitulation to NIL and maybe trying to start from scratch on developing a meaningful rules structure that everyone can get on board with.

But what is that likely to look like in reality? I'm sure the short-term move will be some futile stalling while they try to win some support, but how do they go about retreating from NIL fights without declaring their own regulatory bankruptcy?
