They are looking for instant satisfaction. CJH is building a program. You don’t do that by treating your current players that have sweat blood and tears for you like crap and buy all new shiny toys.

That’s something I’ve noticed about this staff that I believe is going to be rewarding. Very respectful towards current players and staff. They have clearly communicated they are about winning championship, but they are going about it the right way. I believe the way they handled Campbell during the Heard recruitment clearly shows future recruits they aren’t going to disrespect you even though they are still trying to upgrade when given the opportunity.

Oh yeah...I have heard of that..I remember watching a vid that referenced it during a YT rabbit hole trip...the names you used didn't click, but I remember the "radium jaw" thing.

I will go watch some stuff on it later.

I wonder how many people got sick from wearing watches with glow in the dark radium dials for all those years?

Idk. Probably not any way of really knowing. I assume it's quite a few, but years down the road. The radium girls got sick pretty quick, if I remember correctly (within a couple years.) Radium jaw is wild. I may need to re-read, but I think they just kept on using radium, even after they were getting sick. I'm not sure if it's because they were addicted or just didnt realize radium was causing it at that point.

Blackhawk repairman. They can work up to being part of the flight crew. One of his goals.

My baby sister was a crew chief on Blackhawks. After taking her first ride in a bird that was being returned to service after repair, she called me...breathless...just totally jacked from the experience. Shortly after that she applied for warrant school. Was not selected the first time, but she applied again a year later and was selected. That was over 20 years ago. She's a CW4 now and a full time instructor pilot at one of the Army NG flight schools.

During her time she's done everything from teaching to flying medivac in Afghanistan to flying VIPs around DC (like Secretary of Defense and such). Very proud of her.

So yes, you can make it work for you if you want to.

Did some long term conference standings projections for SEC hoops and it’s going to be a logjam between 7 bubble schools with A&M, Alabama, Ole Miss, Miss St, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. I have all 7 finishing anywhere between 8-10 and 11-7 in conference play and all of those teams will be interchangeable.

I have UT, Kentucky, and Auburn all finishing 14-4 in conference play at the top. Not even trying to figure out the tiebreakers.

Overall, I think if UT finishes 14-4 or better in conference play, we’re in line for atleast a 2 seed in March and should be in the mix for a 1 seed, given our SOS and wins and NET. 15-3 or better, and I think this is a 1 seed caliber resume for UT.

Same outcome I came to. Finishing with 8 losses overall (4 in conference). Though only 3 conference losses would be an amazing finish.

Just a lot of tough road games down the stretch. Agree it should have us around a 2-spot, given how nuts (difficulty) our first 3 losses were. Ultimately all about progressing.
