I hate this kinda stuff. Everyone for some reason has the idea that what we wear has some magic charm or something, making us either win or lose. That's one of the reasons why so many want black unis. For "intimidation" That's laughable. Changing tradition at UT is just not gonna happen.

why are so many people concerned over the unis?
no wonder people come on here and troll, we have 100 posts sweating stupid lines down the pants, black jerseys, the hat kiffin is wearing. it is a little overboard. if i am less of a fan because i didnt realize the last time they changed the stripes on the pants then so be it.

Seriously! What the hell else are we gonna talk about? We could keep talking about Hood, but that makes people's blood pressure go up a little. Might as well just take it easy and have lighthearted banter about something.

Exactly. We have until september to talk about football, but we've already covered recruits, recruiting tactics, kiffin's rank among SEC coaches, the other SEC coaches, our depth chart, the new RB's, the QB situation, Kiffin's favorite food, the proposed weather at the WKU game, meeting the president, black uniforms, how much USCjr and UK suck, how much we hate UF and UGA and UA, D. Hood, the proposed record for '09 and '10, and Layla Kiffin...:) We really are struggling for new topics of discussion, so I will help:

Rhode Island is neither a road nor is it an island. Discuss.

I would vote down on the striped pants. I would vote up on the black-trimmed numbers on the white jerseys. No black uni's, just the black trim.

Stripes can stay on the Home white pants, but need to go on the Away pants. The best road unis are the White shirt outlined in black and the bright white pants with nothing but the Power T on the left thigh....

As far as I know, they didn't have black around the numbers the last time they wore orange pants. Also, I don't think Tennessee had great success in the orange pants/white jersey days.

Anyone who believes stripes on our pants is why we lose, is a sadly mistaken individual. Who gives a damn, matter fact I like the stripes

so, KEEP THE STRIPES ON THE LEGG!!!!

I am not a big fan of the stripes on the pants, if we had stripes up the sides of the jerseys it would look better. I am partial to just the orange T on the plain white pants.

You are totally right, I mean we didn't win the '90 Cotton Bowl or did we, also was the Miracle at South Bend just a figment of my imagination or did it really happen?
