Here's a great one!

1. I thought I knew Coach Saban had the gravitational pull of the sun on players.
2. I didn’t know Coach Saban had the gravitational pull of a freaking black hole.
3. I thought coaching and being around high school kids gave me the idea of the meaning of team, brotherhood, and playing for each other was alive and well.
4. I didn’t know just how much that has changed until the last 7 days.
5. I thought I knew how much the players respected Coach Saban.
6. I didn’t know how much they would turn all of his blood, sweat, and tears in building a program, tradition, and expectation for UA.
7. I thought all of the older Saban players still had voices that were listened to by the younger ones carrying on the legacy.
8. I didn’t know the younglings just don’t give a rip what anyone says.
9. I thought Alabama was a premier destination for elite players (many coaches have come and gone with the exception of Saban…see #2).
10. I didn’t know players today honestly don’t give a rip about the destination (with very few exceptions).
11. I thought I knew other teams’ coaches were ruthless.
12. I didn’t know that other teams’ coaches would make a hired assassin say “HOLY ****! HE DID THAT?!?”
13. I thought I knew DeBoer would have a hard time following a legend.
14. I didn’t know DeBoer would have a hard time following a legend and wonder if he’d be able to fill out even a 2 deep roster at the University of Alabama.
15. I thought I knew what the “football emotional rollercoaster” felt like.
16. I didn’t know the “football emotional rollercoaster” was just prepping me for ”football emotional manic bipolar with splash of schizophrenia“.
17. I thought I knew I had a proper handle on my Alabama football fandom.
18. I didn’t know how the last 7 days would make me hate and love college football so many times in a week.
19. Lastly…I thought I knew living here in Georgia was fairly irritating during their run.
20. I didn’t know until now just how much I would wish that my area would become the center of the political universe again as opposed to all this Bama drama.

Georgia side broke the news that he's in the portal so that tells you everything that you need to know.

Even still, I'd rather have 1 powerhouse in the conference (UGA), and it just so happens to be the one that we don't play every year anymore.

I think both teams were coming back to the pack some… I hope this doesn’t make Georgia some kind of a super team.

From the Bama side this week, following some transfers:

They weren't worried about the state of college football when they raided GaTech for their best RB, bragged about taking UGA's best WR, stole Vandy's best OL, the list goes on and on

But now that they have to play by the same rules as everyone else, it's just wrong!! Oh no!!

If we were in the Top 3 of a player that went to Bama, and they enter the portal, I'd be interested to see if there's any communication.

Now that Bama fans are discovering that NIL matters when you don't have a HoF coach someone should tell their boards that Tennessee's GDP is nearly double Alabama's and growing at nearly double the rate. I'm sure they'd appreciate the info.

A whole lot of tough talk too. I like their posters that think they are Saban and speak authoritatively about how losing these All-Americans won't hurt because they're BAMA.

I wish I could capture more but their mods have done a tremendous job deleting the kneejerk, emotional, fleeting thought posts. They are drama queens! It's the best!!!





I simply cannot get enough of them having this crash course in what college football is like for literally every single other fanbase.

They have been playing by a different set of rules for so long. They don’t know how much Saban shielded them.
